I love it when an app makes day to day parenting just that little bit easier. So, I was very excited to download new app Hoop when it was recommended to me by a friend.
Designed by a group of dads, this nifty little app allows you to search for activities in the local area by the age of your child, by day, by location and by price. After all, we’ve all been there on a Saturday morning frantically searching the Internet for something to do with our little ones just to get us out of the house by 9am. It can be a real challenge to find something that’s available, age appropriate and that fits in your budget.
Since downloading the app, I have already discovered groups up the road from me which I never knew existed. On one particularly active week, we visited four new groups that had something for both my toddler and baby. The app also includes details of nearly new sales, exhibitions and did you know there’s even a baby concert called Bach to Baby?
Currently the app only covers the London area (including Croydon) but I have no doubt that parents across the country would love to have access to this type of local directory, so keep an eye out for new listings.
